Well, Spring is here (in fashion terms, if not in weather....yet!), and with it a new palette of prints and colours. This season, look out for bold, ethnic prints and beads from Farhi, Hoss Intropia (new for us this season), and others, vibrant colours and patterns from Odd Molly, Ann Louis Roswald and Rützou, plus folky charm and prints from Saltwater and Odd Molly. Balancing all this colourful gorgeousness (is that a word?) are delicate and beautiful beading by new arrival Tonia Bastyan, full-on drop-dead glamour by revitalised British veteran Paddy Campbell and rising star Libelula, amazing tailoring by the likes of Nicole Farhi and Betty Jackson, plus wearable sophistication from By Malene Birger. We've got new accessories arriving too, with bags by J & M Davidson in this season's colours, and shoes by Audley and the Jackson Twins. It's time to put away those winter blues (and greys!), and get some colour!

__Foundation is two shops, selling unusual clothing and exclusive lifestyle products, in some of the Cotswolds' prettiest towns - Stow-on-The-Wold and Cheltenham. Owners James & Gemma Wiseman (former designers for amongst others, Mulberry, Boden, Conran and Nokia), started Foundation at the end of 2002, to offer a striking, hand-picked selection of interesting clothes, homewares and accessories, by smaller, up-and-coming designers, with the emphasis on style, and above all wearability. They are constantly 'out and about', looking for unusual clothes and other interesting, stylish products.
__The first shop opened in Stow-on-The-Wold some 5 years ago.. The second store was opened in Cheltenham's bohemian Montpellier area 18 months later.
__Since opening, both shops have been featured in several magazine articles, including Vogue, 'The Cool Cotswolds', Homes & Gardens, Cotswold Life, The Oracle and many more, as well as the pilot episode of a BBC series on Shopping!
